FAQ's

Wear what makes you feel comfortable.  We typically suggest leggings and a form fitting shirt to ensure optimum movement.  For aerial yoga classes, we request that you remove any jewelry that could potentially become snagged. 

We offer classes at every skill level.  Each class description recommends an experience level, however, the majority of classes offer modifications for beginners or those that may have injuries.  If you have a particular concern, please advise your instructor prior to the start of the class. 

While restorative yoga incorporates many yin elements, the intention are quite different. Restorative yoga principally tries to heal specific problems/injuries and regain health, while Yin Yoga makes the assumption that you already healthy and want to go beyond this to wellness and optimal health.

Yogahour is an accessible expertly taught flow-form class that offers clear and specific alignment instructions. The style, developed by Darren Rhodes, seeks to supply maximum flow and maximum form per pose during a one hour class for all levels of yoga practitioners.

Each one hour Yogahour class features:

*A brief introduction, a unique Word of the Day, and round of AUM

*40-50 poses with shape, safety, and refinement instructions for every pose

*A 3 minute savasana

No! The hammocks are designed for men and women, of all ages, sizes, shapes, and levels.  The suspension on our expertly installed hammocks are designed to support over 1000 pounds.  

Yes, there is free parking in the parking lot directly in front of the wellness center as well as street parking surrounding our building.
